Platte County Community Center South - YMCA

The Platte County Community Center South - YMCA has partnered with Park Hill School District to teach important employment schools to students in the district’s transitional program. These are students who have specific learning disabilities and the program provides them with skills they need to succeed as adults. Now in its first year at both of the district’s high schools, the partnership helps these students immediately become valuable members of the workforce upon graduations. The Y also partners with a local elementary on its Walking School Bus program, teen New Year’s Eve parties and other efforts.
