Mid-Continent Public Library

Since 2007, Mid-Continent Public Library has collaborated with local school districts to provide direct access for students and teachers to research databases that are often accessible from home. One of the most successful is Live Homework Help, which connects students with excerpt tutors for live, one-to-one help with homework assignments via online chat. Individual library branches also work directly with local schools. In Liberty, for instance, that includes live demonstrations to 400 high school students and participation in the career fair.
