Patriots Bank in Parkville

Patriots Bank in Parkville has been a long-time supporter of Park University and its students. To date, the bank has contributed more than $60,000 to a wide variety of student initiatives, from scholarships to support of athletic and academic programs.

A major component of the support involves Patriots Bank officers. CEO Ed Bradley is both a founding and active member of the Park School of Business Advisory Board and chairs the Resource Development Committee. The newly created Business Advisory Board is already approaching 85 percent participation in the category of giving, a direct result of Bradley’s leadership.

Bank Vice President Linda Varner helps recruit student volunteers for Parkville events, including Christmas on the River and the annual Denim and Diamonds fundraiser.

A special area includes Patriot Banks’ 12-year relationship with the University’s International Student Services. The b bank staff recognizes the challenges facing the University’s large number of international students when opening new bank accounts or other transactions.
